Sunny Florida

Howdie, Y’all!

These are just a few little tidbits about a southern rose that has travelled the world as a military spouse and has finally made my way back home to Florida.  Now a retired military veteran’s spouse and mother of 3 teenagers, I keep busy with managing household affairs and kids’ sports, band, chorus, scouts, etc. schedules – the usual stay-at-home mom stuff.  I also enjoy running, reading, scrapbooking, crocheting, knitting, cooking, and baking, when I have the time.  My husband retired from the military June 2009, and we are settling in his small hometown.  He is a math teacher at the local high school, and I have recently started working at a local college.  We have begun construction on our dream house and hope to move into it before all of our children have graduated from high school (our youngest is 13).  

There really is no place like home, and I’m glad it’s Florida!
