Oh La La, Paris!

We found out while living in Guam that we would be moving to Paris in January of 2006.  But first we had to go to Monterey, CA for six months for my husband to learn French because he would be attending the French War College as an exchange officer.  When we arrived, his class consisted of 4 other military personnel (most classes were at least 10 or 15).  Spouses are often asked to join the classes if there is enough room, so I took the test the military have to take to be sure I qualified to take the class.  For 6 months, I became a full-time student once again, but this time with 3 children who were also students and were constantly asking for help with their homework as I did mine, and I also continued to run a household.

I will be posting tidbits from our adventures in Europe here very soon.
